Power Prop Flying Gliders - #7 Lockheed P38J Lightning (3 of 3)

This is my third P38 glider.  The color scheme on this glider is more detailed than the previous two gliders.  I forgot to mention in the (1 of 3) post that this glider only comes with a single weight and propeller.  I added another nose weight & propeller because it looks cool.  Double nose weights would make this glider crash really quickly if it was thrown.

This is my second P38 glider from this series of Power Prop Flying Gliders.  You can see that the Power Prop Flying Glider logo is present on this package.  This model was a little beat up when I got it.  The propeller and nose weight made some impressions on the wing, as you can see.  The color scheme of this glider is very similar to the one in the (1 of 3) post that I made earlier.

This is the first of my three P38 gliders from this series of Power Prop Flying Gliders.  As you can see, the Power Prop Flying Gliders logo is not on this package.  I didn't assemble & fly this model because I want to keep it in its current condition.

Build Your Own Fighter Planes #1 - Fokker E.I Eindecker

Here is my first attempt at a paper model, the Fokker E.I Eindecker.  I searched for some images of this plane before selecting the color scheme.  I found many images of models that were gray with black crosses. I colored the wheels red because I got that idea from the front of the box in my previous blog post.  The model came together very nicely, however I made a mistake while coloring the tail.  I had to glue a piece of the fuselage to the tail in order to secure it, and I accidentally colored that part gray when it should have been white.  I am not going to bother to try to change it now because this was my first attempt ever.

Here is something a little different for this post.  I was in a busy Chapters store and I was browsing through a hobby section where there were books & kits on all sorts of crafts, when this gem caught my eye.  Needless to say, I bought it without hesitation.  This kit contains card stock sheets to be cut out, colored and glied together into paper models of airplanes.  The models include:
