Flying Gliders - #7 Couswell Lightning (DEFINITELY NOT FOUND)

Just thought I would take a moment to update the blog about the possible Flying Gliders - #7 Couswell Lightning that I thought I found.  Turns out it was exactly the same as the glider that I wrote about in this post:

So disappointing!  The hunt continues...

    1. Yah, I was pretty disappointed. I keep searching but there hasn't been anything on Ebay since.

  2. The problem is the rarity of them, obviously the only way you're going to get the REAL thing is by looking for the Shen Shin release of this glider. As far as I have seen, the model template must have been retired quite prematurely..probably as early as the 1970's, from what I can understand the ''Couswell Lightning'' was just a stop gap without the real model being used.

Also from research and current knowledge on here, that the only real source is if the plane has ''Lockheed or Lightning'' written on the packet with the Ki-61's picture, THEN you will get the real model.

We know she exists. But getting hold of one?.....impossible.
