I always wondered if the pilot had bailed out on the packet art, and when I opened it, the pilot was in the model, I used to say that he moved from plane to plane! another legend the Spitfire!
Hehe, I think even in the original version of the Spitfire Mk.I there was no pilot in the cockpit, I am only lead up to the assumption that either the pilot was small, bailed out or just switched on the engine and let it fly on its own! :) but I think it's a beautiful model!
